Enlisted the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) in 1992, became; AHA CPR BLS / 1st Aid certified in 1995, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in 1995, a USCG Health Services Technician in 1995, Allergy Technician in 1996, Optometry Technician in 1998, Emergency Medical Technician Instructor in 2000, AHA BLS / 1st Aid Instructor in 2000, ASHI CPR BLS / 1st Aid / Emergency Medical Responder Instructor – Instructor Trainer in 2001, Navy Surface Force Independent Duty Corpsman (SFIDC) in 2006, Safety & Environmental Health Specialist in 2006, & a Tactical EMT in 2009. Retired from the USCG in 2016. After Retirement, remained in EMT / CPR BLS – 1st Aid Instructor until present time.
