ACLS Initial: Classroom onsite training for healthcare providers who have never taken ACLS before or who have an expired American Heart Association ACLS certification card.
Length of class is about 12 hours.
PRECOURSE STUDYING: As per the American Heart Association, please visit https://elearning.heart.org/course/424 to access study material. Launch the course to access the Self-Assessment test AND the Video lessons. Students MUST present the certificate that shows they have completed the Video lessons and passed the Self-Assessment (including the score).
Current ACLS Provider Manual (eBook or Paperback) is required. You can bring it in or purchase the ACLS Provider Manual eBook from us for $29.99 – Click here (Please note, we sell eBooks together with our classes; we don’t sell eBooks separately).

Same-day Certification: Upon completion of the course, you will receive a 2-year American Heart Association ACLS certification.

ACLS Class for Healthcare Providers – American Heart Association ACLS certification

Advanced Life Support (ACLS) is a course designed for healthcare professionals who direct or manage cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies; personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units; physicians, nurses, and paramedics; and others who need an ACLS course completion card for job or other requirements.

What does this course teach?

Basic life support skills, including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device, and use of an AED
Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia
Airway management
Related pharmacology
Management of ACS and stroke
Effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team
This class will cover advanced airway management, recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest, and medication administration. Participants will also learn how to use advanced equipment such as automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and bag-valve masks.
Reading and interpreting ECGs, understanding ACLS pharmacology; and who regularly lead or participate in emergency assessment and treatment of prearrest, arrest, or postarrest patients.
