Blended learning Basic Life Support (BLS)

Step 1: Complete the American Heart Association (AHA) Heartcode BLS online. Please purchase the Heartcode BLS online at this link: https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartcode-bls. The cost is approximately $36 through AHA, and it takes approximately 1 to 2 hours to complete at your home.
Step 2: Attend a hands-on skills session lasting about 1 hour with our instructor, priced at $63. (Student MUST present the AHA HeartCode BLS certificate)

Note: The $63 fee covers both the hands-on skills session and the certification card but does not include the Heartcode BLS online, which must be purchased separately.

Same-day Certification: Upon completion of the hands-on skills session, you will receive a 2-year American Heart Association BLS certification.

HeartCode BLS (online portion) + A hands-on skills session with an AHA Instructor

American Heart Association BLS Certification

HeartCode BLS is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the BLS Provider Course. HeartCode blended learning delivers quality resuscitation education regardless of where providers are located and gives them more control to complete the course at their own pace. Providers first complete the online portion of HeartCode BLS and then complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS Instructor.

Who should take AHA’s BLS blended learning?

This Online BLS class and Skills Session is recommended for Emergency Response Healthcare providers and Professional Rescuers. Including registered nurses (RN), Vocational Nurses (LVN’s), Nursing Assistants, Hospital and Healthcare staff, Physicians, Physician’s Assistants, Medical Assistants, Medical Office Staff, Paramedics Pharmacists, Paramedics, EMT’s, Dental Professionals, Respiratory Therapists, Physical and Occupational Therapists, Physician’s Assistants and any other medical, dental or nursing students with busy schedules. When students choose take Half Online (HeartCode BLS) and Half Onsite for hands-on skills session (with instructor).

HeartCode BLS Length: 1-2 hours (at your home).

A hands-on skills session: About 1 hour (with our AHA instructors). (Student MUST bring HeartCode BLS Online Certificate for Completion to Skills Session)

Certification: American Heart Association© BLS certification. You will receive your BLS certification eCard on the day of the class.
