Having BLS certification offers several benefits for healthcare providers. Some of these benefits include:

  • Many healthcare settings and organizations require healthcare providers to have BLS certification as a part of their professional requirements.

BLS certification focuses on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques, AED (automated external defibrillator) usage, and other essential skills needed to manage cardiac arrest and other medical emergencies. It is typically obtained through training programs offered by the American Heart Association (AHA).  Our mission is to keep our community, workplace, and home safer.

We offer the following American Heart Association Classes BLS/CPR&AED, ACLS, PALS classes and certification for Medical and Dental

The BLS certification course covers several important topics, including:

  • CPR and AED for adults, children, and infants: Participants learn the correct techniques for high performing chest compressions, providing rescue breaths, and the ratio of compressions to breaths.
  • AED usage: Automated external defibrillators are devices used to restore the heart’s normal rhythm in cases of cardiac arrest. BLS certification teaches individuals how to operate an AED safely and effectively.
  • Clearing airway obstructions: Participants are taught how to recognize and respond to choking situations, including performing the Heimlich maneuver on adults, children, and infants.
  • Team dynamics and communication: Effective communication and coordination are crucial during emergency situations. BLS training emphasizes the importance of clear communication, leadership, and teamwork among healthcare providers.
  • Recognition and management of respiratory and cardiac emergencies: The course provides instruction on identifying and responding to conditions such as heart attacks, strokes, and respiratory distress.

Having a high-quality CPR training is equal if not more important than obtaining BLS certificate. Obtaining BLS certification typically involves attending an in-person or online training course follow with onsite skills check off. The duration of the course can vary but generally ranges from a few hours to a full day, depending on student learning out comes. During the training, participants learn the theoretical aspects of BLS through presentations, videos, and interactive discussions. Practical skills are then practiced and assessed through hands-on exercises.  Your confidence is our success.

Participants must pass a written exam and demonstrate proficiency in the required skills to receive their BLS certification. The certification is usually valid for a specific period of 2 years.  An individuals must undergo a recertification course to maintain their credentials and should be renewal prior his/her certification expiration date.

We never know when the emergency situation will occur.   It’s import for us to prepare by hands on practice so that we can perform later. BLS certification is essential for a wide range of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians (EMTs), firefighters, lifeguards, and other first responders. It is also highly recommended for individuals working in environments where the risk of sudden cardiac arrest or other medical emergencies is present, such as schools, fitness centers, and workplaces.

Final, BLS certification equips individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills to respond effectively to life-threatening emergencies while waiting for the code blue team to arrive.   These skills play a crucial role in improving the chances of survival and reducing the impact of cardiac arrest and other medical crises.   Every second is vitally important to prevent death and disability.   We believe every second counts when it comes to live and dead situations.  By obtaining BLS certification, healthcare providers and other professionals demonstrate their commitment to saving lives and providing the highest standard of care in critical situations.
